The importance of female oral hygiene

8Th March 2022

From Cwash’s travel journal

How are you? Before I forget it, Happy Women's Day!

To celebrate this day, I have done some research and I learned something new about a really important topic: female oral hygiene.

According to several studies, in fact, women are increasingly prone to gum disease and a series of health problems if they do not take proper care of their oral hygiene. Since gum disorders are bacterial infections, they can spread throughout the body and cause other complications, such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, breathing problems and even problems during pregnancy.

In this context, the Ministry of Health has developed a document containing recommendations for the promotion of oral health during pregnancy and in the following months.

During pregnancy, women undergo complex changes that can negatively affect oral health, often causing inflammation of the gums and other problems, such as periodontitis and epulids.

Because these issues aren't usually painful, many women don't realize they have gum disease until it's too late. To prevent these disorders, a thorough oral hygiene is essential, such as, for example, brushing your teeth after each meal and flossing every day, as well as planning regular check-ups at the dentist.

But there are times of the day, when it is not possible to take care of one's oral hygiene: such as during breaks in the office, when traveling by car or during business and non-business trips.

And this is where I come in: Super Cwash® comes to the rescue!

Take me with you, in your bag, clutch bag or hand luggage ... and don't forget to use me;)

P.S. They are not only useful during the period of pregnancy, but also in the following months. Taking care of our oral hygiene is very important

You can use me at any time and wherever you are: between one doctor’s appointment and another, during housework, even when you are too tired to do anything ... I will become your best friend!
